small huge gestures

I enjoy very much watching The Godfather Trilogy every once in a while.

It’s all about values that today’s mercantile world kind of lost.

Not the respects paid to him when his daughter Connie gets married, not when Vito is dying in the tomatoes crop, not when Mary Corleone dies in her father’s arms…

The most powerful symbol for me is the gesture of bringing home for his wife a pear.
